One of the most important service items on your machine is the fuel tank filter. Any dirt entering the carburettor can be extremely costly to repair. 'Pattern' fuel filters are usually sub-standard they may look the same but rarely give the same degree of filtering or sometimes the filter's too fine causing running issues by restricting the fuel flow.
